Teyolia’s Know Your Rights Workshop for Students and Teens empowers young people to understand and assert their rights in school and in their communities.

This workshop covers the basics of student rights at school, how to interact with law enforcement or immigration officials safely, and what to do if confronted by ICE or police. Teens will learn about their rights during encounters with authorities, whether at school or in public spaces, and gain confidence in navigating these situations. We’ll also discuss what to do if you or a family member is detained, how to respond calmly, and the importance of seeking support.
